“Infectious Diseases and Louisiana: Impact and Current Medical Knowledge” is an informational and educational forum designed to share updates and current knowledge between healthcare experts and the general public. this conference is free and open to the public. Box lunches will be provided to all early registrants.

The one-day conference will focus on the populations and climate conditions of Louisiana and how these factors impact our susceptibility to infection and disease.

Featured speakers include experts from Louisiana State University and Tulane University Medical Centers in New Orleans, LSU and Pennington Biomedical in Baton Rouge, and Louisiana state health offices. Stay tuned for additional details on speakers and the program’s agenda.
